Jonathan Spence in Person
Save the Date for an exciting opportunity to meet one of the most distinguished of living historians – Professor Jonathan Spence, the author of "The Search for Modern China" – at a Meet-the-Author on 16th May (Thursday) at 6pm at the Underground Theatre at Fringe Club. In conversation with Prof. Elaine Y. L. Ho of the University of Hong Kong, he looks back on a scholarly career dedicated to writing the history of China.
