Every year the YRF invites writers and illustrators to present inspiring talks and workshops in schools across Hong Kong. This unique opportunity allows students to meet and interact with some of the world’s greatest storytellers.
YRF 2024
Young Readers Festival School Programme 2024 includes various enlightening talks and workshops presented by 24 authors from Hong Kong and around the globe. This year, our lineup includes 2023 National Book Award winner and New York Times-bestselling author Dan Santat, 2023 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award for outstanding contributions to children’s literature nominee Rashin Kheiriyeh, the internationally recognized journalist and activist from Eastern Ghouta, Syria Muhammad Najem, 2023 Best Middle-Grade Graphic Novel Sakura Award winner in Japan Alina Chau and other talented authors, who will bring inspiration to schools across Hong Kong.
