與Bhanu Kapil對談
香港國際文學節與芝加哥大學和香港大學合作，有幸邀請到T·S·艾略特詩歌獎（T.S.Eliot poetry prize）得獎作品《How to Wash a Heart》的作者Bhanu Kapil來到本次活動。她是劍橋丘吉爾學院的詩人和院士，著有六本書，曾獲由作家協會頒發的喬蒙德利獎（Cholmondeley Award）和由耶魯大學頒發的溫德姆-坎貝爾詩歌獎（Windham-Campbell Prize for Poetry）。在今晚的活動，她將會朗誦她的作品選集，並回答香港觀眾的提問。Kapil的詩歌是「一種嚴謹、富有同情心、超現實、滑稽、痛苦和溫柔的審問方式」。她筆下的《How to Wash a Heart》描繪移民與其招待人相處時的困難，又探討了「包容、款待和關懷的極限」。本次活動將重點介紹Kapil的詩歌如何帶領我們細看當今最迫切的問題。

Bhanu Kapil is a poet and Fellow of Churchill College. She is the author of How To Wash A Heart (Pavilion Poetry), winner of the TS Eliot Prize.
Collier Nogues is Adjunct Assistant Professor of English at the University of Hong Kong. Her poetry collections are The Ground I Stand On Is Not My Ground (Drunken Boat, 2015) and On the Other Side, Blue (Four Way, 2011).
