Saskya Jain

Saskya Jain’s first novel, Fire Under Ash, was published by Random House India in 2014 and shortlisted for the 2015 Shakti Bhatt First Book Prize. Her short stories and essays have appeared in the Economist, Intelligent Life, the Baffler, the Caravan and Die Zeit. She was educated at the Free University of Berlin and Columbia University and holds an MFA in fiction from Boston University. She lives in Berlin and New Delhi, where she is currently working on her second novel.
