Lingling Wei

Lingling Wei is an award-winning senior China correspondent, who was based in the Wall Street Journal’s Beijing bureau from 2011 until China expelled Journal reporters in 2020. Hailing from a farm province in southeastern China, she came of age as a journalist in New York and then returned to China in early 2011 to report on changes in her homeland. She is now based in New York and focuses on the intersection of Chinese politics and the economy.

魏玲灵是屢獲殊榮的中國資深通訊員，她從2011年起一直在《Wall Street Journal》北京分社工作，直到2020年中國驅逐該報社記者。她來自中國東南部的一個農業省，成年時在紐約當新聞記者。 她在2011年初回到中國，報寫關於她祖國的變化。 她現在居住在紐約，專於中國政治與經濟的匯合點。
