Jennifer 8. Lee

A former New York Times reporter, Jennifer 8. Lee is the author of The Fortune Cookie Chronicles, a New York Times bestseller about the Americanization of Chinese food. She is also a documentary producer, seed investor and emoji activist. She serves on the boards of the Digital Public Library of America, the nonprofit news organizations Center for Public Integrity and InsideClimate News, the Roxie Theater in San Francisco, the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard, and the Asian American Writers’ Workshop.
