Biography

Jason Eng Hun Lee (b. 1984) is a mixed British and Chinese-Malaysian poet and academic. His debut poetry collection Beds in the East (Eyewear Press, 2019) was a finalist for the HKU Poetry Prize (2010) and Melita Hume Poetry Prize (2012). His poetry, articles and reviews have been published in Wasafiri, Acumen, Envoi, Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, Oxford Review, Hong Kong Review of Books, Asiatic, Cha: An Asian Literary Journal. He is a Literary Editor for Postcolonial Text and current chief curator for Poetry OutLoud, Hong Kong’s longest running poetry collective. He lectures at Hong Kong Baptist University.

Jason Eng Hun Lee生於1984年,是一名英國與馬來西亞華裔混血的詩人及學者。他的首部詩集《Beds in the East》(Eyewear Press,2019)曾入圍香港大學詩歌獎(2010)和Melita Home Poetry Prize(2012)。他的詩篇、文章和評論曾發表於《Wasafiri》、《Acumen》、《Envoi》、《新加坡文學季刊》、《牛津評論》、《香港書評》、《Asiatic》以及《茶:亞洲文學期刊》中。他是Postcolonial Text的文學編輯,亦是香港歷史史最悠久的詩歌團體Poetry OutLoud的現任總策展人。他現於香港浸會大學教學。
