Elizabeth Sinn

Born and educated in Hong Kong, Elizabeth Sinn has published on many aspects of its history, including the media, migration, prostitution and charity. Among her works are Power and Charity: A Chinese Merchant Elite in Colonial Hong Kong (1989, 2003), two histories of the Bank of East Asia (1994, 2018), The Last Half Century of Chinese Overseas ( 1998) , Pacific Crossing: California Gold, Chinese Migration, and the Making of Hong Kong (2013), Meeting Place: Encounters Across Cultures in Hong Kong (2017), and Index to CO (Colonial Office Series) 129. She led the production of the Hong Kong Memory Project (http://hkmemory.hk)

於香港讀書長大的洗玉儀出版過多部本地歷史的書藉，題材包括傳媒史、移民史、娼妓業與慈善的歷史。如《權力與慈善：東華三院與殖民地香港的華人商業精英》（1989，2003），《近半世紀的海外華人》（1998），《金山夢、華人出洋與香港的形成》（2013），《會‧香港‧多元文化》（2017）及《英國殖民地部檔案編號一二九的原稿本書信公文》。她亦是網上歷史平台香港記憶的創辦人。
