Biography

Anna Fifield is the Beijing bureau chief for the Washington Post, covering all aspects of greater China. She previously covered Japan and the Koreas for the Post, with a focus on North Korea. She is the author of The Great Successor, about Kim Jong Un and his rise to power. She started as a journalist in her home country of New Zealand and then worked for the Financial Times for thirteen years. She has been a Nieman Fellow at Harvard and received the Shorenstein Journalism Award from Stanford University for her outstanding reporting on Asia.

Anna Fifield 是《華盛頓郵報》北京分社社長,負責大中華地區各個方面的報導,亦曾負責日本和朝鮮半島的新聞,尤其關注北韓。她的著作《The Great Successor》探討金正恩的掌權經過。來自紐西蘭的她在當地加入新聞業,隨後任職《金融時報》 13 年。她曾獲哈佛大學的新聞從業員進修獎學金尼曼獎,並憑藉在亞洲地區的傑出新聞報道榮獲史丹福大學頒發 Shorenstein 新聞工作獎。
