Alice Yuen Shan Chan

Alice Chan Yuen Shan earned her BA (First Honour, Major in English) in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her self-published debut book, Fool the Wood: a Collection of Short Stories won the 14th Hong Kong Biennial Awards for Chinese Literature in 2017. She also gained the 7th New Taipei City Literature Awards in 2017, and her works are seen in Hong Kong Literary, Hong Kong Writers, Mingpao, Fleursdeslettres, p-articles, Flower City, etc. She lived in South Korea in 2017 where her second book Image of Lung: a Collection of Short Stories was mainly written. As a resident writer, she had worked with Mei Ho House, Po Leung Kuk and Tung Nam Lou Art Hotel in Hong Kong.
