Support Literacy in Hong Kong,

DONATE NOW

“Regular readers report higher wellbeing and life satisfaction compared to lapsed and non-readers. They also benefit from improved sleep, concentration, empathy, and creativity.” – The Reading Agency, 2024 Report

Why Should you Support HKILF?

With your generosity our registered charity non-profit organisation provides programming for the general public, emergent writers, marginalised communities, students, and other literacy advocates (through access to top quality literary figures from around the world). Almost 17,000 students across Hong Kong took part in our Young Readers Festival (YRF) school programme in 2025. Your support is instrumental in helping us expand the impact of our events. Help us make our next festival an extraordinary celebration of stories, ideas, and community. All donations are tax deductible.
