John Carroll is Professor of History and Associate Dean (Global) in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Hong Kong, where he teaches courses on Hong Kong, the British Empire, museums, and tourism.
Julia Lovell is Professor of Modern China at Birkbeck College, University of London.
Rana Mitter is Professor of the History and Politics of Modern China, and a Fellow of St Cross College at the University of Oxford.
