"Wish" Poetry Contest Winners Announced

November 09, 2021

This year, the 21st HKILF “The Rebound Edition” brought back our poetry contest for secondary students in collaboration with local poets and Writing-Plus – the creative writing initiative at the Department of Literature and Cultural Studies, EdUHK. The contest dates were from 20 September to 20 October 2021. Inspired from Mary Jean Chan’s poem “Wish”, HKILF now invites young writers to explore this evergreen literary theme according to their own interpretation.

HKILF and Writing-Plus are pleased to announce the winners for senior and junior categories. Winners are invited to the award ceremony as a part of the festival’s closing night event on Sunday 14 November to read their winning poems.
