She speaks directly to a Hong Kong audience about the meaning of education in different cultural contexts, and shares her personal struggle to reconcile her desire for education and autonomy with her desire to be loyal to her family. In 2014 she was awarded a PhD from Cambridge University and she is now a senior research fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School.
