Frances Cha
Frances Cha is the author of IF I HAD YOUR FACE. She grew up in the United States, Hong Kong and South Korea, attended Dartmouth College and received her MFA from Columbia University. She was was a travel and culture editor for CNN in Seoul and the assistant managing editor for Samsung Economic Research Institute’s business journal. She divides her time between Brooklyn and Seoul.
An Yu
An Yu was born and raised in Beijing, and left at the age of eighteen to study in New York at NYU. A graduate of the NYU MFA in Creative Writing, she writes her fiction in English. She is twenty-eight years old and lives between Beijing and Hong Kong. Braised Pork is her first novel.
An Yu在北京出生長大,並於十八歲時赴紐約大學學習。她取得了紐約大學創意寫作學院碩士,用英語創作。她現為二十八歲,在北京與香港兩地居住。Briased Pork是她的第一本小說作品。
Sebastian Barry
Sebastian Barry was born in Dublin in 1955. The current Laureate for Irish Fiction, his novels have twice won the Costa Book of the Year award, the Independent Booksellers Award and the Walter Scott Prize. He had two consecutive novels shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize, A Long Long Way (2005) and the top ten bestseller The Secret Scripture (2008), and has also won the Kerry Group Irish Fiction Prize, the Irish Book Awards Novel of the Year and the James Tait Black Memorial Prize. He lives in County Wicklow.

Koonchung Chan
Chan Koonchung is a sinophone writer from Hong Kong who has lived in Beijing for 22 years. He is the Writer of the Year at 2013 Hong Kong Book Fair. His novel “The Fat Years” has been translated into 13 languages.
陳冠中已經在北京生活了22年,是一位來自香港的漢語圈作家。 他是2013年香港書展的年度作家。 他的小說The Fat Years已被翻譯成13種語言。
Marilyn Chin
Marilyn Chin is an award-winning writer and her works have become Asian American classics and are taught all over the world. She is an author of five books of poems and a book of fiction. Her most recent book is A PORTRAIT OF THE SELF AS NATION: NEW AND SELECTED POEMS. She has won numerous awards, including the Anisfield Wolf Book Award, the United States Artist Foundation Award, the Radcliffe Institute Fellowship at Harvard, the Rockefeller, two National Endowment for the Arts Awards and others. She is featured in major anthologies, including The Penguin Anthology of 20th Century American Poetry. She serves as Professor Emerita of San Diego State University and as a Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets.

In 2012 he was appointed Whitney J. Oates Visiting Fellow in Humanities at Princeton University. He lives with his wife and three children on a farm outside Delhi.

Bob Davis
Bob Davis is a Pulitzer Prize–winning senior editor at the Wall Street Journal’s Washington, DC, bureau. He covers economic issues and continues to write about China, where he was posted from 2011 to 2014. Davis has served as the Journal’s bureau chief in Brussels, covering the European Union, and as the Latin America bureau chief. He lives in Washington, DC.

Romesh Gunesekera
Romesh Gunesekera is internationally acclaimed for his novels and short stories including the Booker-shortlisted Reef and Noontide Toll — a collection of stories that captured a vital moment in post-war Sri Lanka.
His latest novel, Suncatcher, returns to an earlier era in Ceylon and a story of divided loyalties and endangered friendship in the turbulent 1960s.
He conducted his first workshop in Hong Kong in 1998 when he was also a writer-in-residence at Hong Kong University.
Born in Sri Lanka, he also lived in the Philippines before settling in Britain.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.

Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai
Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai is the author of eight books of poetry, short fiction and nonfiction in Vietnamese. She has been honored with the Hà Nội Writers Association’s Poetry of the Year 2010 Award, the Capital’s Literature & Arts Award, and First Prize – the Poetry Competition About 1,000 Years Hà Nội, among others. Jeremy Tiang
Jeremy Tiang is a Singaporean translator, novelist and playwright. His novel State of Emergency won the Singapore Literature Prize in 2018, and his short story collection It Never Rains on National Day was shortlisted for the same prize. His translations include novels by Yan Ge, Chan Ho-Kei, Zhang Yueran, Li Er, Su Wei-Chen, Liu Xinwu and Yeng Pway Ngon. He also writes and translates plays. Lingling Wei
Lingling Wei is an award-winning senior China correspondent, who was based in the Wall Street Journal’s Beijing bureau from 2011 until China expelled Journal reporters in 2020. Hailing from a farm province in southeastern China, she came of age as a journalist in New York and then returned to China in early 2011 to report on changes in her homeland. She is now based in New York and focuses on the intersection of Chinese politics and the economy.
