Becoming a Friend allows you to contribute to the enhancement of the literary arts in Asia and to take advantage of exclusive benefits and privileges we offer. Your donation will go towards the current needs of the Festival including: international air travel and accommodation costs for visiting authors; supporting individual events; and hospitality programmes and information for visiting authors. Each membership level offers benefits in addition to those of the Reader level membership. Join together This year, Book Clubs enjoy a special offer to join the Friends of the Festival Programme. We hope that book club groups of up to ten members will join forces to reach Bibliophile and Connoisseur levels. We hope that this will increase the Festival’s ability to invite additional authors. In exchange, the Festival will offer your group an opportunity to host an author for a private dinner or book club talk, in addition to the benefits offered to the Reader level membership. In return for this generous support we will name your group on our website and in our programme. We will work with you and the authors, local and international, to make a memorable event.
