The Hong Kong International Literary Festival

Schools Programme

Schools Programme

You can view an online version of the 2016 Schools Programme here. The 2017 Schools Programme will be made available in the next couple of months.

The Schools Programme has been a popular component of the Hong Kong International Literary Festival from the very beginning. Each year we invite schools to participate in a programme of workshops, talks, and performances that allow students to interact with, learn from and be inspired by acclaimed and beloved authors. The Schools Programme of the annual Hong Kong International Literary Festival is aimed at students age 14 and up. For younger students, check out the Hong Kong International Young Readers Festival, an extensive programme for children aged 4 through 18.

The Festival is committed to investing in the readers and writers of the future. We hope that the Schools Programme will have a lasting impact on the students who attend, nurturing a lifelong love of literature.

Please note that these events are for school groups only as they take place during school hours.
