Professor Tony SK Mok was trained at the University of Alberta and subsequently completed his fellowship in medical oncology at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. He is now a Professor in the Department of Clinical Oncology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with research interests that encompass lung cancer, liver cancer, and molecular targeted therapy. He is also an Honorary Professor at Guang Dong Province People’s Hospital in Guangzhou and a Guest Professor at Peking University School of Oncology, Beijing Cancer Hospital, China. An Associate Editor of the Journal of Thoracic Oncology and editorial board member of Journal of Clinical Oncology, Professor Mok has contributed over 130 articles in international peer review journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, Science, Lancet and Journal of Clinical Oncology, and contributed to multiple editorials and textbooks. He has also authored 4 books in Chinese and hosted 3 TV series.
