Rajeev Balasubramanyam
Rajeev Balasubramanyam has had short stories published in a variety of anthologies, including Fugue and New Writing 12. Balasubramanyam’s first novel, In Beautiful Disguises, won the 1999 Betty Trask Award and was also nominated for the Guardian First Fiction Prize and the BBC Asia Award. In 2003 he won the Clarissa Luard Award for the best British writer under the age of 35. He is currently working on a second novel, The Dreamer, based on the Ian-St James Award-winning short story of the same name, to be published in 2010 and is a Research Scholar in the Society of Scholars for the Humanities at HKU. |
