Moses Isegawa was born in Uganda and worked as a history teacher before leaving for the Netherlands in 1990, where he lived in a small town near Amsterdam for more than fifteen years. He is the author of Abyssinian Chronicles and Snakepit both of which are set during Idi Amin’s dictatorship. In 2006, Isegawa returned to Uganda to live.
