Emma Donoghue is a multi-award winning writer whose 2010 novel Room was a finalist for the Man Booker Prize as well as an international bestseller. She is a five-time finalist in the Lambda Awards since 1994. In 1997, she was the winner of the American Library Association’s Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Book Award for Hood. Her most recent collection of short stories, Touchy Subjects was published in 2006. Her novels have been translated into no less than 20 languages. Donoghue is an Irish-born playwright, literary historian and novelist now living in Canada. |
