The Hong Kong International Literary Festival will take place between 5 and 14 October 2012 The Press Office can arrange interviews with visiting authors, ticketing requests and advise on specific areas of the programme suitable for TV, print or radio broadcast.

How can I obtain a Press Pass for the Festival?
There is not a Festival Press Pass available due to the variety and nature of the events at HKILF. However press tickets are available and all requests should be made to media@festival.org.hk at least one week before the event. All journalists must pre-register to qualify for press accreditation – please email media@festival.org.hk with your name, email address, mobile telephone number, publication and position. We will allocate one ticket per publication per event where available. Ticket requests for freelance writers are only granted to those working to commission.
How do I arrange interviews with authors and participants?
All requests to interview authors, participants and staff at the Hong Kong International Literary Festival should be directed through the Press Office. Please contact us at media@festival.org.hk and we will do everything we can to facilitate your request.
Can I film or record events?
This may be possible for some events, with the permission of the participants. Please contact media@festival.org.hk well in advance of the Festival and we will do everything we can to facilitate your request.
How do I obtain images of the Festival and visiting authors?
The Press Office has a library of high-res images of most of this year’s authors and participants. Please email media@festival.org.hk to check availability.
Can I photograph events?
This may be possible for some events. Photographers must register for press accreditation first.
