 Evanescent Isles: A Literary Lunch with Xu Xi -- Join award-winning author Xu Xi for a fabulous literary lunch as she discusses her newly released book of essays, Evanescent Isles, with Justin Hill, author of Passing Under Heaven. Xu Xi is the author of six books of fiction and essays and was short-listed for the inaugural Man Asian Literary Prize. An active champion of Hong Kong literature, she most recently edited a volume of new writing from Hong Kong entitled Fifty/Fifty. A Chinese-Indonesian native of Hong Kong, Xu Xi is currently a writer-in-residence at Lingnan University. Take a glimpse into Xu Xi’s Hong Kong in this special literary event at M at the Fringe.
