Ticketing

Tickets for ticketed events will be available at the door. You may pre-book a ticket using this website. You will need to have cookies enabled (that's how we keep track of what is in your shopping cart!).

PRE-BOOKING TICKETS USING THE WEBSITE
To pre-book tickets, click on the title of the event from the programme page. Select the number of tickets and add them to the shopping cart.

If you are purchasing discounted Friends of the Festival tickets, please enter your Friends of the Festival membership number in the box provided. Discounted tickets are restricted to two per event; you may purchase more by adding normal (non-discounted) tickets to the order.

The shopping cart is available at any time from the menu at the top of page. To remove an item, merely set the quantity to zero (0).

To complete your order and check out, click "Checkout" from the shopping cart. You may at that time add books from the authors participating in your session.

PAYING FOR PRE-BOOKED TICKETS
You may pay for your tickets online using a secure credit card transaction. Or you may choose to call or fax in your credit details using the forms providing by e-mail following placement of your order. Please note your seats are not reserved until credit cards details are received and confirmed!.

COLLECTING YOUR TICKETS
Pre-booked tickets will be available at the door. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the session to collect your tickets.

THE FINE PRINT
The pre-booking service is provided by Paddyfield.com Ltd and makes use of Paddyfield's secure server, customer service and transaction handling capabilities. Paddyfield's privacy policies as posted on the website will apply, with the exception that The Hong Kong Literary Festival Limited will also receive a copy of customer information which it may use for keeping attendees updated as to future events and Festival news.

Tickets booked are neither refundable nor returnable.

STUDENT TICKETS
Student tickets will be available for events at the Fringe Club and Central Library (only) at HK$60 each. These will be avilable from 30 minutes before the session and are subject to availability. The Festival reserves the right to limit the number of student tickets and to decide eligibility. Student tickets will be limited to full-time school and university students under the age of 22 and a student card must be presented when purchasing and entering the venue.

FREE, NON-TICKETED and NON-FESTIVAL EVENTS
Free and unticketed events will in general be on a first-come basis. For events held by organisations other than the Festival (for example, the FCC), please follow the booking or reservation instructions given for the event.
